-Behind The Shutter-

Many new clients want to know, "How do you do that?" well let me just show you the real deal. Behind the shutter, the camera, behind the lights, and all the fluster; this is what it looks like. From here on out I will post "behind the shutter" shots that my assistant takes of me doing my job. You will see how I work with my clients, how I REALLY lay on the ground to get just the right angle, how I laugh and sing with the little ones; the real deal.

This is my setup for a large group of family members consisting of 12 which includes the babies and children. Perfect studio lighting, excellent lighting coverage on a cloudy day!

Yup. See, I told you I get on the ground.

...and the kids just LOOOVE to see themselves on the camera. It gives them a sense of understanding of whats going on and keeps them excited to take more pictures.

Photos like this, being able to look back and see how my clients react to my work, is priceless to me. I love this shot.

Explaining to everyone what to do.

Gotta check to make sure my lighting is right. Every shot must be analyzed immediately and settings checked to assure maximum quality.

On an event session I still find neat backgrounds to take some unexpected portraits.

First things first...gotta get the equipment ready to work!

And you just can't go on a session without the trusty AGP vehicle! The beautiful logo acts as a big bulls eye as if to say that equipment is left unattended in the car, but it never is left in the car- just a little side note haha.
