All of you know that we were expecting a baby girl to arrive no later then March 1st. Our daughter was scheduled to be born by a planned c-section, but early the Sunday before her scheduled c-section she decided she had to be in this World and in it now! A couple weeks before I was due to have her I came across another professional photographer who photographs the birth experiences for mothers. She takes photos from the first contractions in the hospital to the family visiting after baby is born. www.lifeinmotionphotography.com by Lyndsay was and still is an absolute inspiration. Given that her work touched me so much I decided to do as she does but for my own personal experience. My husband whom is my assistant and second photograph would be the photographer for this main event. We planned and prepared ourselves for the up and coming excitement. When I woke up the day before my baby was due with horrible contractions my husband did not hesitate to start snapping away; catching EVERY single moment for you all to see. You can view my birth experience (mature viewers only please) on our website at AliciaGinesPhotography.com in Private Galleries under "Gines' Birth Experience".
Our daughter is absolutely beautiful and as healthy as can be. I can not thank God enough for such a blessing. My two year old son LOVE LOVE LOVES his little sister and can't get enough. HE acts just like himself with no extra tantrums or problems. He is actually a big help; throws bebe's diapers away :). Zoey Abagail is her name. She is 7 pounds, 2.4 ounces, and 19 inches long. She is a WONDERFUL sleeper, eater, and is very loving and LOVES to stay awake and look all around or cuddle close and stare you in the eyes until the sun goes down.
I hope you all enjoy. :)
