3/1 of 52/1 Project featuring {L} -Professional Portrait Photographer (stockton,ca)

Wonderful experience! That is just about that main thing floating in my head after my photo shoot with {L}. {L} is my husband's, mother's, adoptive mother. She is a wonderful women, full of fun and smiles. This was my first time meeting her and first time working with her and I love every minute of it. I did {L}'s shoot at the Iguana Wanna Bar and Grill on karaoke night, here in Stockton, California. I did more of a documentary feel for {L}'s shoot because it is pretty difficult for a photographer to manipulate a situation with a "bar and grill" amount of people around. I did a few set up shots that I think turned out nice. I love the energy in all of her photos and they certainly scream FUN! I learned a few new things from this shoot which is good because that is the entire point of this project. One thing that I learned was to "bulb the room" which is when you set my flashes to hit the ceiling and let the light bounce back down onto the subjects. This is a great effect way to professionally light your subjects without getting too fancy. It worked wonders beings as I had minimal room to work in and several heads to shoot over....oh and many people who liked to trip over my light stands lol.

Thank you again {L} for helping out with the project. Much love. :)
