11/1 of 52/1 Project featuring Trisha -Professional Portrait Photographer (sacramento,ca)

She has been my best friend since before high school, I should have the world to say about this women; and I do. She is one tough cookie who has been handed many lemons in life....she still pushes through all of those sour moments in life and raises a beautiful two year old while taking care of her ever-so-pregnant self. Our portrait session with Trisha was absolutely INTERESTING to say nonetheless! With my two and a half year old and six month old, and her almost two year old ALL running around the house screaming, fighting, yelling.......camera stands, back drops hung, equipment and bags slung everywhere......sounds like something slightly horrible, doesnt it? Well, it wasn't!! Miraculously, I had an amazing time. I found it a little hard to remember my key points which can make or break a photo, but recently I decided in pursuing a new process in which to manage my portrait sessions and this process helped me to regain my composure and, to take what was "ok" photos and make them beautiful, unique and amazing! I use to just take the portraits and be on my way. I would NEVER even dream of showing the client the "before photo shop" photo on the lcd screen. I started showing clients the photos on the LCD about a month ago....and it worked for me! But my process now is to not only show the before's on the LCD but to also, once the session is over, to upload all of the photos on the computer and review them as well as consult my assistant as to.."what we could have done better"....this provides me with time to rest my stressed self, regain composure, let my client rest, and in all....it just let's me be ME for the few minutes I need to be in order to be the BEST at what I do. Funny how I managed to do this in all of laughter, yelling and fighting of three babies haha....but I guess now my "field work" experience is up a few notches lol.

So without further ranting.......Trisha, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your pregnancy. Below is your sneak peek which you have already seen :) but you are welcomed to apply this to your facebook along with the caption "AliciaGinesPhotography.com" love you!
