(Van & Jorge) Professional Wedding. -wedding photographer (oakdale, ca)

Jorge and Vanesa got married! Congratulations to the beautiful couple and thank you so much for letting my husband and I be a part of it all by being the ones who captured it all for a lifetime. We had such a great time. Vanesa was so beautiful and Jorge looked great in his suit! The bride and groom's families were nothing but nice and accommodating. Mother of bride even offered us wine...we had to turn that one down for professional reasons lol. Our day started off at the groom's home were we took a few shots of him getting ready and a couple nice posed ones. After that we headed out to the middle of nowhere to bride's home. We were so thrilled to see where she lived. It was a beautiful backdrop for some dramatic outside shots of the bride and their home was a perfect backdrop for the "Getting ready" shots as well as the family shots. I was excited to be able to sneak in the family shots at the bride's home and the groom's home because the wedding schedule didn't allow much room for any nicely done family portraits. After doing the bride's "Getting ready" shots we all headed to the hall...WEDDING TIME! Being my first wedding I kept on my toes....I really didn't know what to expect. Once their I was the one who got to sneak in the bride and give the que for her to walk down the isle....this I was not expecting but was quite honored to be able to be a part of such a big moment. Being with mom, dad, and the bride was very touching. You could feel the nervous and tension...and even though those are usually not good things...this family was clearly full of love and was full of happiness and at the same time sad to be giving away their baby girl. Once bride walked down.....I got myself set up and took the shots where they put the rings on and after that...I got pretty confused. The whole ceremony was in Spanish to my surprise (guess I should have know)..so when it came time for "the kiss" I didn't realize and missed it!!!....but it also didn't help that my sweet bride was so nervous that she panicked and kissed her hubby for a whole 2 seconds lol. Nonetheless....it was a beautiful wedding with many happy, surprising moments. The bride and groom's table had several candles on it which caught the napkins and flowers on fire a couple times. All caught on camera FYI. Every one was okay...everyone laughed it off. Once the ceremony was finished we did a few family shots with guest etc and then I took my bride and groom to my set outside locations that I had previously scouted for and OMG I am so in love with these photos....and not to mention my bride and groom for being so AWESOME for braving the COLD. Thank God the rain let up literally as soon as we got out of the car. The clouds looked amazing. Everything went wonderfully, in my opinion, for my first wedding and it being such last minute. I hope that my bride, groom, and the family enjoyed my company as much as I did there's and I hope that you all enjoy the photos!!!!
