Attending my first webinars -Professional Portrait Photographer (stockton,ca)

Yesterday and today I attended my first webinars and was accompanied by my hubby. I very much enjoyed the opporutnity to engage in these workshops and experience other photographer's businesses and ways of doing things. Having two little ones at home hanging off both of my earlobes doesn't necessarily make it the easiest thing to get out of the house and travel to the city or sometimes different state to attend these seminars in person. I am sure that attending a seminar in person is far more educational and a overall better experience, but it certainly isn't something that I can do right now. Can't wait to attend one-or a hundred! Yesterday's webinars (by the way a webinar is an online seminar) was interesting and I was mostly excited to be doing something new and active for the business. I learned a few things here and there but honestly nothing that I already didn't know. I do not want to gloat and seem like I know it all because I certaintly do not. Over this past year my hubby and I have been working eight hours roughly everyday learning everything that we can about this industry and learning new camera techniques and skills. Recently, I would say over the past four or five months, we have been driving it hard into the ground. From dawn to dusk, busting our butts getting Alicia Gines Photography put together and flawless; it's been our way of life lately (other then our beautiful babies). When these webinars came on and my hubby and I sat there listening and taking it all in, we couldn't be more thrilled to have been validated by these professionals, these people who are elite photographers, that Alicia Gines Photography is a damn good business already-and we haven't even brought out our big guns yet!! Like I said, I do not know everything and don't want to seem large and in charge. It took several mistakes and oops to get where I am right now and I am almost positive I will have many more mistakes in my time. Nobody learns from doing everything perfectly. We learn from our mistakes and we grow from them.

Dream big. Be strong. Love.
